Exclusive sale process. In this type of relationship, Cheval represents the seller and conducts or manages all aspects of the sale process. Key aspects to this process typically include designing a sale plan that maximizes the value of the business to prospective buyers; anticipating (and mitigating) buyer issues before the process begins; approaching and qualifying prospective acquirors; running a structured offering process that maximizes competition; and helping negotiate and close a transaction. Oftentimes, our extensive experience representing buyers gives us an advantage when representing sellers. Cheval Opportunities List. Cheval also distributes a weekly list of web hosting, ISP and related assets that are available for purchase to several hundred prospective buyers. Cheval acts as an advisor in these transactions often helping both buyers and sellers complete deals. The Cheval Opportunities List may be an ideal choice for smaller sellers as well as companies that want to get a feel for the market without embarking on a full scale sale program.
