Hillary & Frank will be attending and speaking at HostingCon 2008, July 28-30 in Chicago, Illinois. We've generally found this to be a good conference for hosters.
Hillary will be speaking from 9:00am - 11:00 am on Monday July 28 with Joe Bardenheier, VP of Corporate Development of the Endurance International Group. The workshop is entitled, "An Interactive Workshop on Valuing and Structuring Hosting Company Acquisitions," and is probably a good session to attend for those thinking about selling or buying hosting companies in the near future.
Frank will be a panelist on "Metrics That mean Money And How To Track Them" from 3:00 - 3:45pm on Monday July 28. The panel includes some of the hosting industry's most successful operators and looks at the operating metrics and financial results that can add meaningful value to you in operating, growing and exiting your hosting business.
Frank will also be on the Wednesday keynote panel, "Sealing The Deal," from 9:30am to 10:30am. This panel will look at what hosting companies are worth in the marketplace today.

Hillary Stiff spoke at HostingCon 2007 on "Metrics That Mean Money And How To Track Them," with Isabel Wang, David Snead, Joe Bardenheier of The Endurance International Group, Jeffrey Stibel of Web.Com, Adam Dillaplain of CaroNet and Brian Shephard of Canada Web Hosting. The purpose of Hillary's presentation was to help hosters understand some of the reasons why getting good measurement systems in place was important when it came to raising money or selling their businesses.

The Endurance International Group merges with IPOWER
Cheval Capital represented The Endurance International Group in their merger with IPOWER. The merger creates one of the largest shared hosting companies in the industry with more than 600,000 active sites.

In the first half of 2007, Cheval Caplital completed 11 transactions for its clients in the web hosting and ISP businesses.
Tele5 Voice Services acquires Servage GMBH
Cheval Capital acted as financial advisor for Swedish IT and telephony services provider Tele5 Voice Services AB's acquisition of Servage GMBH.
